Carolyn Muller, CPDT-KA, ABCDT
Dog Training and Enrichment Manager
Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed, ABC Certified Dog Trainer
Carolyn Muller received her first certification as an ABC Certified Dog Trainer through the Animal Behavior College in 2018. She then went on to receive her second certification as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed later that same year. As a certified professional with over 10 years of experience in a shelter setting, Carolyn introduced a core group of low-cost classes to the public that formed PAC’s Behavior Services department. She uses positive reinforcement, science based training methods that make it fun for the family and dog to learn and want to keep learning.
Carolyn started saving lives with Providence Animal Center in 2009. She spent years matchmaking as the Kennel Manager at Providence Animal Center until she discovered her love for canine behavior. Now she is our first in-house Dog Training and Enrichment Manager! Carolyn is affectionately known for her catch-phrase: “I've got a dog for you”.

Dayna Villa, CPDT-KA
Director of Operations
Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed
Dayna Villa has been certified through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers since 2010. She is also a Professional Member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers since 2007, a member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants since June 2020, and sat on the Board of Directors for the Animal Care & Control Team of Philadelphia (ACCT Philly) from 2016-2018. Additionally, she has been selected twice to speak at the Best Friends National Conference on dog training & behavior.
Dayna has been saving lives with Providence Animal Center since 2004 when she started fostering dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys going to Flyers games with her husband Chris.

Marissa Giangiordano, ABCCT
Manager of Intake & Lifesaving
ABC Certified Cat Trainer
Marissa Giangiordano has been certified through the Animal Behavior College, completed August 2019. She has been saving lives with Providence Animal Center since 2012 after having volunteered at the Center for her senior project in high school. She graduated from Penn State Brandywine in December 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Marissa has adopted two cats from Providence Animal Center. She enjoys traveling, foster dogs, country music, and has an affinity for German Shepherds & sassy cats.
