How PAC is handling the COVID-19 virus

On March 30, we closed our adoption doors. We're not sure when they will re-open, but we can only hope it's sooner vs. later. We have an obligation to protect the health and safety of people as well as pets.

Thanks to a tremendous outpouring of support, most of our pets have – and will continue to – be transferred into foster homes during this crisis. We are working on a process to adopt out pets from foster care while the adoption center is closed.

Our veterinary services will remain open for essential care. Our Wellness Clinic is operating curbside; however, our spay/neuter and other non-essential surgeries will be suspended until further notice. To schedule an essential Wellness Clinic or surgery appointment, call 610-566-1370 x 217 or text 610-566-1370.

We will continue to do what we do best – save lives. What we do isn't possible without your support. Please consider supporting our efforts.

We continue to rigorously clean our Center with products approved to kill the COVID-19 virus.

According to the World Health Organization, there is no evidence that companion animals or pets such as cats and dogs have been infected or could spread the virus that causes COVID-19.

Thank you for your understanding and support during this challenging time!

Hi Gina, thank you for your interest in fostering! We are working as quickly as possible with limited resources and a high volume of foster apps, but we are accepting them! We will check in with the foster team to make sure yours is in line to be reviewed! Thank you again for your interest in fostering!

My pup Sophie, who is a rescue, has a skin issue. She starts licking and can end up with yeast infections, etc. she had been under treatment at our vet for a couple of weeks and now this. Do you shampoo and clip dogs? I am terrified that she might get really sick.

Would you consider letting me foster a cat? I called about this last week and learned that you do not offer cat fostering. However, would you reconsider during the crisis?
