Fixing to Save Lives

It is a mantra that is held close to rescuers’ hearts – “Together, we will save them all”.

This is a goal that Providence strives toward every day through our lifesaving efforts, wellness services, and programs that assist our community, and on February 27th, we will be taking part in an internationally recognized day of action that will help make that goal even more achievable!

On this day, we will be honoring World Spay Day by offering $15 spay and neuter surgeries for owners of intact cats throughout and beyond our county thanks to our friends at The Casey Feldman Foundation who generously sponsored the day’s event.

World Spay Day was started by the Doris Day Animal League in 1995 to help promote spaying and neutering as a way to help save animals’ lives by preventing future overpopulation of homeless pets, and since its creation, has helped to significantly reduce the amount of pets being euthanized in shelters every year.

Providence is honored to be able to partake in such a significant day in the world of animal welfare, and it is because of support from people like you that days like this are even made possible.

Together, we truly will save them all – one spay or neuter at a time.
