Employee Spotlight: Sarah from the Cattery!

Meet Sarah, Providence Animal Center's Cattery Supervisor!

Sarah works in the Adoption Center's Cattery five days a week, so most cat adopters recognize her as the staff member who helped them in their search for a new feline friend.  She matches felines to families fabulously and always goes above and beyond to make sure the transition into a home goes smoothly.

Sarah is pictured above with kitten Kaboodle, who is available for adoption right now! If you adopt him on “Tabby Tuesday,” you can receive $25 off his adoption fee.

Sarah's an adopter herself; she has two cats, Emerson and Buster, and a dog, Stella, all of which were rescued from Providence Animal Center.  Emerson is a long-haired purbred Ragdoll cat, and he is as big and fluffy as they come.  Buster had surgery to remove both of his eyes after they became severely infected, but Sarah fell in love with his sweet disposition and reports that he gets around her house just fine!  Stella, a mixed breed dog, rounds out her clan of furry companions.

Sarah takes the time to get to know each and every cat that makes its way through Providence Animal Center's doors.  Here she is spending some one-on-one time with Dublin, a recently adopted (yay!) FIV+ brown tabby that we rescued from a high-risk shelter.

Come meet cats like Dublin and let them show you all the love and dedication that Sarah puts into our kitties! And while you’re there, tell Sarah how great she is.  The Cattery is surely a better place because of all of her hard work!
