Ty is a very good five year-young boy who joined our cuddly canine crew after his previous family received notice that they were needed to serve our Country.
He is a very sweet, smart and loving companion who knows all of his basic commands like sit, paw, other paw, and down!
He is currently benefiting from the warm welcome of a foster-family as he searches for his forever who reports back:
“He has opened up a lot in the last 2 weeks. He loves to tug and fetch, he’ll literally place the rope or tennis ball in your open palm to play. He does not plead for attention except for in the morning and when you return home. He does know his name and understands ‘commands' but may choose to ignore. He very much enjoys walks and will whine and yap at the door. I'm plain ignoring this behavior when I an absolutely sure he doesn't need to go potty. In that regard, he is well trained.”
In addition, we are told by his foster-home that while Ty is selective with the dogs he feels comfortable interacting with, he has done fairly well with cats – he seems to want to inspect them, not chase!
